Barnes & Noble Opens New Store in Stillwater, OK

Author Alysha Rameera to Host Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Book Signing at the Grand Opening at 9AM on Wednesday, August 12^th, 2026

Stillwater, OK – August 5^th, 2026 -Barnes & Noble is pleased to announce the opening of its new Stillwater, OK bookstore on Wednesday, August 12^th. Renowned as America’s friendliest college town, Stillwater will soon offer a perfect place for all book lovers and students alike.

The new Barnes & Noble will offer more than 15,000 square feet of books, toys, games, magazines, gift items, a Barnes & Noble Café and more. The new Stillwater, OK Barnes & Noble is located in Bradford Plaza (519 N Main Street Stillwater, OK 74075), in the former Joann Fabrics space, next to Ulta.

Stillwater Barnes & Noble bookstore will officially open to the public at 9am Central on Wednesday the 12th, with local author Alysha Rameera cutting the ribbon and signing copies of her acclaimed book, Her Soul For A Crown. Costume character Maisy the Mouse will also join the festivities and host special storytime events over the weekend.

The new Stillwater Barnes & Noble is the first of three stores planning to open in Oklahoma this year, and one of the 7 stores opening across the nation in August. The design of the Stillwater store showcases the ambition of Barnes & Noble to create exceptional local bookstores that marry the best traditions of independent bookselling with the resources of the historic chain.

Barnes & Noble Premium and Rewards Members will earn double stamps on all purchases made between August 12^th and August 16^th. Customers who are not yet Members are encouraged to sign up and start earning stamps and rewards right away.

Everyone who visits the new Stillwater Barnes & Noble during the grand opening will have access to exclusive deals, like $50 off any NOOK device. Customers can also save 40% on all DVD, Blu-ray, and 4k Ultra HD movies.
