Barnes & Noble Opens New Store in Natick
Author and Illustrator Peter H. Reynolds to Host a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
and Book Signing at the Grand Opening on Wednesday June 14, 2023, at 9AM
New York, NY – June 7, 2023 – Barnes & Noble is pleased to announce the opening of its Natick bookstore. The new location showcases the highly lauded bookstore design seen in the most recent Barnes & Noble store openings. The new Barnes & Noble is located at 1324 Worcester St., Natick, MA, in Sherwood Plaza next to DICK’S Sporting Goods.
It will officially open to the public at 9AM ET on Wednesday, June 14th, with beloved author and illustrator Peter H. Reynolds cutting the ribbon and signing copies of his newest book, When Things Aren’t Going Right, Go Left.

Barnes & Noble is experiencing a period of tremendous growth, buoyed by significant expansion of the market for physical books driven by word-of-mouth and social media recommendations. In 2022, Barnes & Noble opened more new bookstores in a single year than it had in the whole decade from 2009 to 2019. The bookseller expects to open over 30 new bookstores in 2023. The Natick Barnes & Noble is one of three new Barnes & Noble stores to open in the same week, alongside the new Wareham bookstore.
“We have missed our customers just as much as they’ve missed us, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone into our gorgeous new store,” said Store Manager Caitlyn Corbett. “We look forward to reinvigorating our events calendar, a fixture in our Framingham location.
