Barnes & Noble adds Disney DVD/Blu-rayTM section in most stores for a limited time

Additionally, an extensive catalog of Disney DVD/Blu-ray titles to be offered in select Barnes & Noble locations

New York, NY – February 22, 2024 – Barnes & Noble is excited to announce that most Barnes & Noble retail locations are now offering a Disney-branded section featuring a greater assortment of Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Pixar Animation Studios, 20th Century Studios, National Geographic, and Searchlight Pictures titles on DVD and Blu-ray. Additionally, 10 Barnes & Noble locations will feature more extensive collections of available Disney films, including stores in New York City NY, Los Angeles CA, Honolulu HI, Anchorage AK, Orlando FL, and San Antonio TX. Other locations are being reviewed for future expansion.

In announcing this expansion, Barnes & Noble Music & Video Category Manager Crissi Bariatti said, “Our customers have told us that they want more selection and variety in our DVD and Blu-ray assortments. We are fully committed to offering our shoppers a best-in-class assortment and we are working with Disney to expand and enhance our offerings from their catalog in all stores.”

As part of this agreement, Barnes & Noble stores will feature dedicated Disney sections and displays for a limited time featuring the expansive DVD and Blu-ray offerings. In addition, on-line Barnes & Noble will continue to offer its shoppers thousands of Disney-branded items including DVDs and Blu-rays, Books, Legos, Vinyls, CDs, Collectables, Plush Toys, Puzzles, Games, Magazines and Accessories.
