Vice President of Business Operations & Strategy

Michelle Fagan is the Vice President of Business Operations & Strategy and currently oversees the Paper Source brand and Barnes & Noble’s Specialty Inventory planning and allocations.

Michelle has more than 25 years of retail management experience including companies such as Target, Kohl’s, and Banana Republic. Michelle joined Barnes & Noble in September of 2013 as a Store Manager in our Plantation Florida location. In 2018 she was promoted to the Home Office in New York City where she directs store operations, major change initiatives, and the distribution network.

After Barnes & Noble acquired Paper Source,  Michelle began overseeing its leadership team in the Chicago as well as 100 stores across the US.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Administration in Retail from the University of Wisconsin Madison.
