Melissa Marchese

Melissa Marchese is the Vice President of Human Resources, bringing more than 20 years of experience with the company and a career dedicated to advancing the field of Human Resources. She began her career with the organization in an entry-level HR role before pursuing an opportunity in the pharmaceutical industry to broaden her expertise. Driven by her passion for the dynamic, customer-focused retail environment, she later returned to the company.

Since her return, Melissa has held progressively senior leadership roles, playing a key role in shaping the company's HR strategy, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and supporting continued business growth. Throughout her career, she has partnered with leaders across nearly every area of the business, including store operations, eCommerce, distribution centers, and the home office.

As Vice President of Human Resources, Melissa leads the company’s HR function and oversees all aspects of the employee experience. She is committed to creating an engaging workplace, developing strong leaders, and aligning HR strategies with the company’s long-term business objectives.

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University.
