The Reno donation took place on Monday, December 7, with all of the products coming from the Barnes & Noble Distribution Center in Reno. In addition to Marine Toys for Tots coordinators, the Nevada National Guard and the Reno Sherriff’s Department were on hand to unload the truck and distribute the donation to families in need. “Barnes & Noble has a big presence in Reno, so we’re thrilled that they decided to support our community with a major donation,” said Jon Yuspa, founder of the Nevada Honor Flight. “We know that local families are going to really appreciate this.”
Barnes & Noble donated to the New York City Toys for Tots foundation on Wednesday, December 9, with all of the products coming from the Barnes & Noble Distribution Center in Monroe, NJ. This donation will help us in our mission to ensure that every child in New York City has a book or a toy under the tree this holiday season,” said Staff Sergeant Juan C.
