Superstar children's recording artist Laurie Berkner’s joyous song comes to life in Party Day!, an interactive musical adventure eBook available exclusively on Barnes & Noble’s NOOK Color and NOOK Tablet, due out December 15.  The NOOK Book™ is based on the title track from The Laurie Berkner Band’s new DVD, Party Day! (Two Tomatoes Records/Razor & Tie) which entered the Billboard Top Music Videos chart at #1 when it debuted this summer.  Party Day! is both NOOK Kids’ and Laurie’s first-ever original NOOK Kids Read and Play™ book, featuring animation and interactive games.

In Party Day!, a merry bunch of insects get together for an all-day beach jamboree.  They play instruments, dance, build sand castles, tell stories and watch the waves until the sun goes down.  Laurie's simple lyrics and infectious melody, together with vividly-hued illustrations by Julia Woolf, capture the childhood feeling of never wanting a perfect day to end.
