Barnes & Noble.com Launches Annual “Holiday Gift Catalog” with Savings up to 40%

Newly Designed Website and “Fast & Free Delivery” Make Holiday Shopping Faster and Easier

New York, NY – November 19, 2007 – Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE:BKS), the world’s largest bookseller, has launched the Barnes & Noble.com (www.bn.com) 2007 Holiday Gift Catalog, offering a selection of this season’s best books, CDs, DVDs, calendars, video games, toys and other gift items, discounted up to 40% off list prices.  Gift options are presented in an easy-to-navigate format.  And with “Fast & Free Delivery,” gifts arrive within two to three business days anywhere in the continental U.S., with free shipping on orders over $25.  In addition, Barnes & Noble will offer special promotions throughout the holiday season, including the Cyber Monday free travel bag offer with purchases of $75 or more.
