Exclusive Barnes & Noble.com Interview with Former President Bill Clinton on Holiday Giving

New York, NY—December 14, 2007— Barnes & Noble.com (www.bn.com), a wholly owned subsidiary of Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE:BKS), announced today an exclusive video interview with former President Bill Clinton on holiday giving and how charity can make a difference in people’s lives.  The interview is featured on Barnes & Noble.com’s home page and includes a special holiday message on giving from the President.

In his latest book, Giving: How Each of Us Can Change the World, President Clinton writes, “The amount of good that so many individuals and NGOs (non-governmental organizations) have been able to do has proven to me that almost everyone – regardless of income, available time, age, and skills – can do something useful for others and, in the process, strengthen the fabric of our shared humanity.”  Giving: How Each of Us Can Change the World is a wonderful gift book for the holiday season.  A portion of President Clinton’s proceeds from this book will be donated to charities and nonprofits that are doing their part to change the world.

Giving can be ordered at Barnes & Noble.com up to midnight on December 18th, and be delivered in time for Christmas.
