(NYSE: BKS), the world’s largest bookseller, announced it is lowering book prices for customers who belong to its MEMBER program.  Barnes & Noble MEMBERS will now receive 40% off the list price on hardcover fiction and nonfiction bestsellers, and 20% off the list price of all other adult hardcover books.  Barnes & Noble MEMBERS will continue to receive an extra 10% off everything else including paperbacks, bargain books, children’s books, CDs, DVDs, and café items.   The new discounts are good nationwide in all Barnes & Noble stores and online at Barnes & Noble.com (www.bn.com).
