Bookseller, Café Server, Music Seller
Our Booksellers, Café Servers, and Music Sellers are the public face of Barnes & Noble.  They create a friendly, casual, helpful experience for customers.  They know what’s in their departments, and keep them inviting, organized and well stocked.

Lead
Leads are the experts in their assigned sections, and are a key resource to booksellers and customers alike.  Leads monitor in-store inventories and manage work assignments.

Digital Sales Lead
As our digital business continues to grow, we have opportunities for tech-savvy, sales-driven individuals to promote our digital products and services, including eBooks and our NOOK eBook Reader; provide technical advice and assistance; and demonstrate product features to customers.

Head Cashier
At Barnes & Noble, we pride ourselves on fast cashiering.  Head Cashiers make sure lines move rapidly and never get long.  They open and close registers each day, authorize returns and exchanges, and audit receipts.

Receiver
Receivers guarantee that our well-stocked shelves stay that way.  They verify all shipments, sort merchandise for each store section, monitor inventory and process returns.
