Sponsorships and Charitable Donations

At a local level, Barnes & Noble supports pre-K-12 schools and not-for-profit arts, literacy, humane and community service organizations. In-store bookfairs offer community fundraising opportunities. In addition, we are proud to partner nationally with organizations that meet our mission through a number of sponsorship and donation opportunities.  Opportunities must be located in the community or communities in which we operate, and serve the greater good of the local community or region. Also, the organization must not discriminate with regard to age, race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship status, military or veteran status, religion, creed, disability, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, medical condition as defined by state law (cancer or genetic characteristics), gender, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws and ordinances.
